About Us
Nigeria’s first fully online secondary school and pre-university institution. The establishment of StellaPride Academy was inspired by the need to bridge gaps in learning that often lead to academic underachievement. We achieve this by offering students a flexible, individualized, and modern educational experience.
Initially, our focus was on secondary school students who struggled with the limitations of traditional education systems. We recognized the need for a learning environment where students can thrive at their own pace, with personalized support and teaching methods tailored to their unique needs. This vision gave birth to StellaPride Academy, where affordable, accessible, and international-standard education is now available to students across Nigeria and beyond, entirely online!
What sets us apart?
- Special Education Services: We offer strong support for students with special education needs (SEN), ensuring that every student receives personalized support that foster inclusivity, academic growth, and essential life skills for long-term success.
- Comprehensive Educational Assessments: Students undergo education Assessment by our expert academic advisers to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, allowing for personalized learning and skill development which keep students motivated and accountable while preparing them for future academic and career opportunities.
- Academic & Higher Education Advising: Our team provides academic guidance and personalized higher education placement support, helping students make informed decisions about their future.
- Mature Students Education Opportunity: We provide a pathway for students whose high school education has been interrupted to get back on track and complete their secondary school education.
- Accelerated Education: Students who want to start university early and have some subjects to complete can study those subjects and be enrolled to sit external examinations.
- Examination Preparation and Remedials: StellaPride Academy works with highly skilled and seasoned teachers who offer tutoring services to prepare students for any standardized examinations, school-based and external examinations.
- Global Citizenship Curriculum: All mainstream students take our signature Global Citizenship course. This course provides students with a deep understanding of global issues, trends & risks, develop critical thinking and analytical skills through inquiry-based learning; cultivate a growth mindset and develop understanding of core, foundational values for principled thinking in young people to live successfully in an increasingly interconnected and volatile world. Finally, StellaPride Academy is affiliated with MAITOMO Schools, Lagos, Nigeria through which we can be reached in-person. Through this affiliation, StellaPride Academy offers additional in-person academic support, extracurricular activities, and access to MAITOMO’s impressive facilities. This collaboration ensures that we maintain flexibility to meet the needs of students who desire in-person education service

Learning without barrier
The coming of the global disruptor, Covid-19, further highlighted the importance of flexible, online learning. During this time, many students embraced the opportunity to continue their education virtually, discovering that learning without barriers is not only possible but empowering. At StellaPride Academy, we believe that education should not be interrupted by life’s challenges. We provide a platform for learners (whether they don’t fit the traditional classroom model, have other interests, or have struggled in their academic journey) to study on their own terms, at any time, and from any place.
